Stage Door Productions, Inc. is a community theatre located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. We are currently in our eleventh season. We have eight productions scheduled for our current season which includes musicals and straight plays for both adult and child actors.
Stage Door Productions was formed to bring the theater experience to our community through education, performance, and outreach. We have done this by offering classes and camps,opportunities for performance, and an opportunity for the public to see live theater at a reasonable rate.
We are truly a community theater in every sense of the word!
- Theater builds communities… communities of people who share the experience.
- Communities of actors and technicians of different backgrounds, ages, and experiences that come together toward a common goal while accepting, learning from, respecting and appreciating one another.
- Communities of audiences who come away from the theater with moments forever etched in their memories. Moments that made them laugh, or cry, or challenged them to think beyond the boundaries of their life.
- Moments of beauty, or make believe, or moments that spoke to their very souls, or, simply, the appreciation of the many hours spent to bring the experience to them.
We come together as one community, one community that appreciates and supports the art form.
